Holly attended college at the New England School of Communications at Husson University in the quaint town of Bangor, Maine. Here, she challenged herself at any possible chance. Taking upperclassman courses as a freshman, Holly learned the skills and techniques that would advance her an entire year above her peers. Between stacking on 18-credit course loads, working a part-time job, being the secretary of the photography club, and operating camera for live sporting events such as baseball, football, and basketball, she was no stranger to hard work. After only three years, Holly was found walking across the stage accepting her diploma, while simultaneously sporting her Alpha Beta Kappa honors society chords and her Summa Cum Laude gold chords. She was also presented the "Award of Excellence" from the New England School of Communications for "having outstanding academic achievement and service to the community and University."
Upon graduating, Holly was offered a summer internship as a Video Editor at Aras Corporation, a leading company in PLM software. After an extended six-month stay, Aras made Holly an official full-time employee as a Digital Media Specialist in January of 2019. Here, she got the best of both worlds recording and editing video promos and advertisements, hosting live webinars, as well as being the company's main photographer for social media photos, headshots, and event photography.
At the age of 22, Holly decided to pack up her things and start the next leg of her life journey in sunny Phoenix, Arizona. She began work as an Employee Experience Media Specialist at DriveTime, a nationwide leader in the used car industry. Here, Holly honed in on her video production and photography skills, taking on a heavy load of projects in a fast-paced environment. In her time at the company, she has seen tremendous professional growth in her position--all the while learning additional skills such as planning and executing events, building and maintaining the company's intranet site, and having a strong hand in the company's philanthropic and DE&I initiatives.
While living in Phoenix, Holly uncovered an unexpected passion that would change her life as she knew it - dog ownership! Over the course of 4 years, Holly's family quickly grew from 1 to 3 when she joined the world of dog training and dog sports. You can often find her training her dogs after work and traveling with them on the weekends to fun hiking spots or sport trials. She even began her own Dog Sport & Portrait Photography company on the side - Alpha Dog Media Group.
