I began my dog sport and portrait photography career in late 2021. Since then, I have photographed a variety of sporting events such as dock diving, disc, barn hunt, agility, and NASDA. I also do a bit of portrait photography of people/families and their pets. Check out the galleries below to see some of my best action and portrait work!
Dock Diving
Enjoy a short highlight reel I put together of a dock diving trail! The dogs compete in a variety of events - distance jumps, air retrieve, and hydrodash. Distance jumps can range from 5ft jumps all the way up to 30+ feet. There are six different jumps classes, making every distance competitive within its own class!
Barn Hunt
Barn hunt is a prey driven sport. Dogs compete to find live rats (protected within a tube) that are hidden within hay bales. Difficulty ranges from finding one rat all the way up to five rats within 2 1/2 minutes. It is up to the handler to call out when there dog has found a rat. If they call incorrectly, the round is over and you don't get a qualifying run. Dogs of any size and breed can excel at the sport! Enjoy a highlight reel I put together of a recent trial.
