From July 2017 to May 2018, I had the privilege of being a co-producer of a musical short film called "When the Music Changes". This project was the first of its kind at my school, which therefore lead to more pressure than usual to create a successful final product. Leading a crew of over thirty people, the production team and I were able to pull off such a feat. The short includes an original script along with five original songs that are accompanied by a full symphony orchestra, with a run time of 34 minutes. I was the producer for this project, meaning I was in charge of planning, scheduling, and communications. Other duties included set design and wardrobe. Above is the trailer for the short.
Since its completion in May 2018, the short film has premiered publicly at two international film festivals, as well as won the "Royal Reel" award at the Canada International Film Festival, an online-only competition. It is still currently in its film festival circuit, with upcoming local premieres in the New England area.
